Wilson is dangerously good when scrambling. |
5 - NFC had the best top tier teams in the NFL (see COWBOYS, PACKERS, LIONS, CARDINALS w/ Carson Palmer)
4 - There's no pressure to win to disprove a cheating 'scandal'...PETE CARROLL normally has his guys loose anyway.
3 - Tackling MARSHAWN LYNCH for 4 quarters is a process that wears down your defense and opens the door to PLAYACTION and long BEAST MODE runs.
2 - RUSSELL WILSON has a knack for converting 3rd downs with either his legs or arm...especially in big games. (see NFC championship vs. PACKERS, last year's SB)
1 - The SEAHAWKS are able to get pressure with their front four, which allows the LEGION OF BOOM to protect in zone coverage. Success in that area has historically been a bad omen for the PATRIOTS. (see both SB losses to the GIANTS)
These two will have a solid plan to get ring No. 6 |
4 - 3rd times a charm in AZ (PATS 0-2 in SB in AZ)
3 - O-Line has been fantastic holding up top pass rushers this year. (other than the KC game)
2 - DARRELLE REVIS and BRANDON BROWNER bring a toughness to the secondary that's been missing for almost a decade.
1 - ROB GRONKOWSKI is healthy, and one of the main weaknesses for SEATTLE'S defense is covering TEs (11 TDs allowed this season). Expect BILL BELICHICK to exploit that with rare formations.
My pick: 30-24, SEAHAWKS...close game until BEAST MODE breaks out late to create seperation...and after what happened against the PACKERS in the NFC championship (down 16-0 most of that game) I think this is a team of destiny that will just find a way.s
